Centrally situated, Park Farm Barns and surrounding countryside offer visitors a unique opportunity to taste the splendour of our rural countryside, whether by car, on bicycle, or simply walking the quiet lanes take in the peace and tranquillity of Norfolk life.

 
Historically, the area was of great significance, with Norwich being the country's second city and a thriving trading port for medieval Northern Europe. This period has endowed the county with some fine trappings, the wealth gained including grand houses, ornate gardens and lots of interesting market towns and hamlets.

For the naturalist, the area is home to a wide variety of birds, wild flowers, forest and woodland animals all within a hours drive from Hingham. 

 

Visit the North Norfolk Coastline, the famous Norfolk Broads, the fine city of Norwich, and an Ornithologist's paradise that is Breckland 

 

For the sporting enthusiast there are a number of interesting and challenging golf courses as well as well stocked fishing lakes for the coarse fisherman. Tucked away in Thetford forest you can drive over cars with army tanks or play paintball games.

 

For the Gastronome there are also many fine dining places in the area, from Michelin Star restaurants to good food guide pubs and some well respected vineyards producing fine wines, the county boasts lots of quality eating and drinking.
